The Detoxification Process

Detoxification is a set of interventions aimed at managing acute intoxication and withdrawal. It denotes a clearing of toxins from the body of the patient who is acutely intoxicated and/or dependent on substances of abuse. Detoxification seeks to minimize the physical harm caused by the abuse of substances. It may take 3 to 4 weeks depending on the health condition of a particular person.

Inhouse Treatment Facility

The inhouse treatment is required because addicts and alcoholics are unable to stop using at home. So they are taken to inhouse treatment in a rehab centre like ours. While in lock and key they forcefully stop using drug and alcohol with some help of medicine and physical exercises. In due time say about 3 to 6 months they gain physical strength and come of withdrawal symptoms and slowly step forward for further spiritual therapy.

Counselling Program

Periodic counselling sessions are required to boost and addict or alcoholic. Sessions are done in groups and also personally. Before releasing the patient from the treatment centre, family counselling is also done so that the family feels easy to handle such patients with proper awareness on certain things and situations. This can go on for few months depending on the mental growth of the addict.

Aftercare through awareness

After going home an addict or an alcoholic needs proper support through attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings and talking to counsellors as a routine work. By staying in such environment it helps them grow a proper mental state which helps them to stick on to recovery from addiction and other wrong doings and develop a proper behavioral pattern to stand into real life.
